Orang lain masuk politik, dia pon sibuk nak berpolitik jugak

Hangin betul aku satu badan tengok gelagat mat-mat dan minah minah yang baru setahun jagung dalam bidang politik. Aku pun takde la banyak sangat pengalaman, setakat dengar orang berdebat. Fikir sikit sana sini, pas tu tanya khabar orang kampung. Semua tu perkara biasa. Tapi sesetengah orang muda sekarang ni ringan mulut berbanding tangan. Malu sungguh aku tengok perangai depa ni.

Rasulullah SAW pon pernah kata, kurangkan bercakap, banyakkan perbuatan. Aku pun dah tak tau nak labelkan golongan macam ni dengan panggilan apa dah. Ni salah satu dari golongan yang nak panjat tangga rapuh tapi tengok betol betol. Main hentak kaki je. Akhirnya makan padah sendiri.

Dia pun nak terlebih tunjuk pandai, pegi kira balik berapa kos. Tapi dia tak tahu, dia dah membazir masa dia yang sepatutnya dia guna untuk jaga kebajikan masyarakat dan orang awam.

Ni Dato' Raja Nong Chik dah jawab.

Nong Chik: RM10 Million Overhead Bridge Is KLCC Project

KUALA LUMPUR, 11 Feb (Bernama) -- The RM10 million pedestrian bridge linking the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre to the KLCC Impiana Hotel is not a government project.

The cost of building the 153 metre bridge is borne fully by the Petronas subsidiary, KLCC (Holdings) Sdn Bhd, the Federal Territory and Urban Wellbeing Minister, Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abdidin, clarified today.

The government is not at all involved in the project, and neither is he or the Mayor of Kuala Lumpur, Raja Nong Chik said in a statement.

"The appointment of the contractor was by rigorous tender and 100 per cent handled by the KLCC," he said.

The pedestrian bridge, which would be air-conditioned and have escalators and lifts for senior citizens and disabled people along with security features such as CCTV, was being built as a corporate social responsibility, he said.

As such, the allegation by Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah Anwar that the project cost too much and was a waste of money was baseless, Raja Nong Chik said.

Nurul had also asked whether the contractor had been appointed by open tender.

Raja Nong Chik had said the bridge was the first phase in the overall project of building 12km of pedestrian bridges to link all major roads in Kuala Lumpur to public transport stations.
