Thank you Datuk Saravanan. Masalahnya, kawasan ni kawasan Titiwangsa. RNC turun ni pun lawat satu Masalah besar dalam kawasan Titiwangsa yang dah jadi kudis, Pasar Datuk Keramat. Backing sikit, nnt senang-senang je Lo'Lo' menang balik. Tapi persoalannya, mana kenyataan pimpinan UMNO Titiwangsa?

Kebanyakan pemimpin UMNO Titiwangsa ada kat situ dan tahu sendiri apa yang sebenarnya terjadi. Masalahnya, mana statement diorang menyokong Menteri Wilayah Persekutuan yang datang dari Parti UMNO ini? Apabila Datuk Zulhasnan jadi Menteri WP, semua bahagian UMNO di Wilayah mesti sokong. Begitu juga sebelum itu dengan Datuk Isa Samad. Mesti sokong dia walaupun dia dari Nogori. Dan kini bila giliran Raja Nong Chik pula, Bahagian2 UMNO Wilayah kenalah bagi support, tunjuklah solidariti sikit!

Minister Not Duty Bound To Inform MPs Of Visits - Saravanan

KUALA LUMPUR, May 23 (Bernama) -- Federal Territories Minister Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin is not duty bound to inform members of parliament (MPs) if he decides to make a surprise visit to their constituencies to check things on the ground, Deputy Federal Territories Minister Datuk M. Saravanan said today.

"These surprise visits are for the minister to gauge what's happening on the ground. What is the point of a surprise visit if everyone is informed earlier. We are working for the betterment of the people. Please do not politicise trivial issues that do not bring benefit to anyone except for your own political mileage," he told Bernama.

Saravanan was commenting on the lashing out of Titiwangsa MP, Dr Lo'Lo' Ghazali of PAS, at Raja Nong Chik for not having informed her of his surprise visit to Keramat Mall here on May 20.

At a news conference at the PAS headquarters yesterday she alleged that she had confronted Raja Nong Chik over what she described as his lack of courtesy for not informing her of the surprise visit and that she was given an unsavory reply on that day.

"I go everywhere and I don't need to tell you all. Now I'm going to the toilet. Should I tell you whether you want to follow me?" Raja Nong Chik allegedly replied, Lo'Lo' was quoted as saying by a news portal yesterday.

Lo'Lo' said she was "shocked and stunned" by Raja Nong Chik's reaction and was embarrassed because the latter's comments were audible to his large entourage consisting of ministry and City Hall officials.

Although Raja Nong Chik apologised to Lo'Lo' at another function the same day, she said it was important for her to publicise the issue to prevent it from happening again and that his comments bordered on sexual harassment.

Saravanan said: "The minister has apologised over the matter to her and there is no reason for her to hold a press conference to highlight the issue. This is not a gender sensitive case but more of one with political malice.

"The minister's comment would have been the same if it was a male MP asking him the same thing. I request the opposition MPs not to politicise everything. We know clearly now that they would politicise anything. Please stop this rhetoric and start working for the people, which is why we are here for in the first place."

Tindakan Datuk Saravanan harus diberikan kredit. Sebagai seorang pemimpin BN yang ada tanggungjawab dalam WP, beliau memberikan kenyataan yang bernas dalam hal ini. Kita harap UMNO Wilayah bangun dari sikap remeh dan memberikan kerjasama sepenuhnya dengan Menteri WP yang baru Raja Nong Chik.
